In the past couple of weeks, the Ranked Play of Call of Duty bo7 bot lobby underwent a massive revamp that left many players confused. This article will cover the major changes to the SMG Meta and also the introduction of new weapons. It will also explain how you can maximize your performance in the map.
Meta Changes and the Evolution of the SMG
mmoset Black Ops6’s meta changed dramatically with the addition of the Jackal PDW and other weapon attachments. It was also the first time that the Jackal PDW had been removed from the game. The Jackal PDW has long been considered to be the best SMG available in competitive gaming. These are some of major changes that were made:
Elimination Attachment Restriction – It’s amazing that a lot attachments which were earned on the previous tiers of the game are removed, and many aren’t given back. Recoil springs have been one of recent’s most beneficial modifications. This is done by adding horizontal/vertical control of recoil to the weapon. This change allows players to maintain an accurate level of accuracy even at a great distance.
Barrel Adjustments – With all barrels removed, save for the Gain Twist Barrel (which is still available), players must now use a different strategy to load their weapons. Although the barrel is still functional, it lacks in terms of customization. As a result, players are trying other attachments.
Stock Debate. Jackal SCAR SMG Players still fight over whether Balance Stocks or Infiltrator stocks are better for SMGs. I am one of the players who have switched to using the Infiltrator after much testing. In gunfights, the increase in aim-walking to 4.3 from just 4.1 is very appealing. While the trade-offs in terms of movement speed, crouch speed, and other factors are undoubtedly worse for some players, they do not really matter.
Ergonomic Rear Grip & Range Foregrip – These attachments are still a mainstay in the Jackal PDW loadout, thanks to their benefits. They can be used for sprinting with a scoped aiming speed and for sprinting with aimed speed. Together they produce a weapon both light, and accurate.
The Popularity of C9 SMG
While the C9 SMG makes a great submachine weapon, it’s still not as good as the Jackal PDW. Players have switched to the C9 since it got the Long Barrel attachment, which makes the C9 perform well over longer distances.
C9 is not without its downsides.
Lower Mobility: Because of its versatility when it comes to distances, the C9 also lost its agility. It’s not suitable for dominant playstyles requiring a great deal of mobility.
Even with Commando Grip installed, the C9 still cannot compete with any other SMG.
C9 will suit those who prefer to be more defensive and passive, as well as those who prefer to fight at close range or in tight angles. The C9 is also very comfortable. Jackal users are those who enjoy quick combat or tend to move about a lot.
\ Tier List Analysis
The two SMGs I tested are about the same in my opinion.
Jackal PDW: S-Tier
It’s my first choice in competitive play. It has the best mobility, versatility and quickness.
The Jackal, although both weapons are valuable in Ranked Play and can easily move up the leaderboard with consistent wins.
Advanced Tactics for Ranked Play
In high-level Ranked Play, it is clear that choosing the right weapon will not help you. You may also want to consider the following tips for the best possible results.
Map Control: Understanding spawn logic is essential to managing important parts on the map. Camp certain places on the maps to prevent the opposition from getting there.
The importance of team coordination in battle choreographed teams cannot be overstated. The ability to communicate lobby dead or push rugs can help others reposition, and gain the upper hand on the opposition.
Flexibility: You can push aggressively, but you need to maintain discipline if pre-aiming or rotating early is your choice. Being able to control yourself and remain aggressive is crucial in close games.
Matchmaking Difficulties can increase as you move up the ranks. Mentally taxing is carefully traversing four stacks or top class challenges of iridescent characters. Similarly, when facing a skilled team, some players prefer to avoid the match or quit.
Final Thoughts on the Ladder Systems
Players have to be constantly adapting and reinventing their strategy due to the constant meta-changes. You can’t be a game veteran without knowing how to customize your loadouts.
